FAQ

Solve Who combines the platform of an escape room with the intricacies of a murder mystery, which creates the world's first CSI Game, and makes it significantly better than an escape room San Diego!
Here at Solve Who, we appreciate our heroes and understand certain occasions should be discounted in order to bring people together. That is why we are proud to offer 20% off tickets for groups that can verify they qualify for any of the following groups: Police, Nurses, Military, Firemen, Students, Birthdays, Government, Anniversaries, and Wedding Parties. Send us an email with your credentials, and we will send you a discounted code.
The game is split into 3 segments; Investigation, Interrogation, and Deliberation. The first segment is spent investigating the crime scene. Following up, stand behind the "one way mirror" and witness the interrogation of 3 likely suspects (pay attention to the details). Lastly, you and your group will review the evidence you collected and collectively decide which suspect is guilty.
Yes, but only up to 5 minutes late. Any later than that, the experience will be hindered and the activity will not make sense. The show must go on it’s allotted time. We have to stay on track so the next booking won’t be interrupted. It’s best to arrive 15 minutes early.
Due to the employee scheduling, we require 24 hours notice before your scheduled booking day to give a full refund. We understand things come up however, so we will happily reschedule a booking date or time if you email us at least 2 hours before your scheduled time.
  • 24+ hour notice for refund
  • 2+ hour notice for rescheduling
  • Email preferred in case the phone is not answered in time. Emails will ensure you are within the time limit.
Yes, but you must buy all 10 tickets to have the scene to yourself. You should consider that the odds of success increase with more sleuths on the prowl. In this digital age, it's refreshing to meet strangers with similar interests.

Additional Information:

Solve Who is better than an escape room in San Diego because it's really a crime scene game! It offers a real “whodunnit” experience unlike anything - anywhere else in the world. Solve Who is formatted very similarly to escape rooms, but rather than problem-solving how to get out of a room, you’re trying to solve a murder. The creators of Solve Who worked with actual San Diego detectives, forensic scientists, and a medical examiner. They interviewed many authorities involved in/with murder investigations. They integrated real sciences, real crimes, added a touch of fiction for entertainment purposes, and have created a fun environment that enables customers to think critically with emphasis on attention to detail. Each crime scene has been plotted and physically acted out to authenticate the physics and provide customers with a genuine experience.
The Solve Who crime scenes each have a unique theme. The crime scenes include an insurance agency (PROstate Farm), a coffeehouse (MudButts), a residence (Bedroom Bloodbath), and a warehouse (Taken 4). You’ll need to gather as much evidence as you can find in each crime scene because whatever you miss, will not be turned into the “laboratory” and it will not reflect in the evidence binders which are provided in the final segment. The evidence binders have all the forensic information, suspect/victim background information, and other material related to the clues you find in the crime scene. You and your group should analyze the evidence, relate it to the suspect’s testimonies, and decide which of the 3 suspects committed the crime. Come check out Solve Who today, you'll like it way better than an escape room in San Diego!
